About me

I am Karolina and I have been teaching foreigners to speak Polish since 2012. I enjoy teaching very much, and I make every effort so that my students can have fun learning the Polish language. Some time ago I lived abroad, so I am aware how difficult it is sometimes to overcome the language barrier, to find yourself in a new reality and learn a new language.

I am a Jagiellonian University graduate, I speak English, Ukrainian and basic German and Russian. I have cooperated with many companies, language schools and foundations conducting individual classes as well as group courses.

Everyone is different, everyone has individual needs and learns in his/her own way. Therefore, I recently offer individual and small groups courses (3-5 people) so that I could always adapt the general curriculum to your expectations and abilities.

“The Beginning” course

This course is addressed to people who have just come to Poland and want to get along in everyday situations: in a shop, in a public office or at the doctor’s. During this course we will put an emphasis mainly on communication skills, however basic grammar will be discussed as well.

The course takes two months, (It’s 20 hours, we meet 3 times a week for 60 minutes)

General Polish language course

Levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1

This is a traditional course including all language skills: speaking, writing, listening and reading. Classes will be focused not only on linguistic correctness but also on cultural elements and common everyday situations in Poland. The course is intended to those who want to use the Polish language at work, at school or home.

The course lasts about 3 months (40 hours, we meet 2 times a week for 90 minutes)

Examination courses

This course prepares students for taking state examination in the Polish language, which is certified by the State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language. This certificate is acknowledged in all Polish public offices, institutions and universities.

We work for 50 hours, it depends on students’ needs and exam date how often we meet and how long the whole course lasts.
